Piffers Code of Conduct

APPERANCE

Dressing

  • Your clothes should be NEAT clean and properly ironed.
  • Shalwar qameez is allowed but only with waist coat.
  • Ties should be worn with formal dressing.

shoes

  • Shoes should be black, brown or Tan colour.
  • Shoes should be polished.
  • Open shoes and chappels are not allowed (Except for WAZOO)

Employee card

  • Employee card must be displayed properly.

Physical appearance

  • Hair should be appropriately designed. Long hairs are not allowed.
  • Nails should be chopped properly. Long nails are not allowed.
  • Properly shaved or proper beard or moustache, un-impressive looks are not allowed.

Jewellery

  • Only rings are allowed in office.
  • Bracelets, chains, ear rings are strictly not allowed

Penalty

  • A penalty of Rs 500/- will be charged and absent will be marked of that day.

Award

  • Rs. 2,000

Internal behaviour

How to call your colleagues

  • Say Sir or Sab to seniors and Bahee to all juniors
  • CALLING ONLY NAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED

How to sit in office

Reception

  • In reception all employees should be extra carefull because customer can step in any time. All staff should sit properly on chairs in formal position.
  • NO RELAXING MODE IS ALLOWED.

Operation rooms

  • Staff should sit properly on chair but allowed to relax in a decent way if customer is not sitting in front of them.
  • SITTING ON TABLES OR PLACING FEETS ON TABLE IS NOT ALLOWED

Loudness level

  • Loudness level should be low while working. Low volumes of speech enhance your personality.

Abusing

  • Use of obnoxious language is strictly prohibited in and during office hours. While displaying employee card one should consider the corporate image before the use of abusive language.

Penalty

  • Explanation will be called and salary will be held till final decision of committee.

External communication

  • Be polite in your conversation
  • Ask all relevant details
  • Caller may be a:
    – Client
    – Guard
    – New prospect
    – Vendor
    – Regulatory authorities

First listen to caller properly and then start talking. Your voice should convey respect. Never tell client to call other manager, the person who attends call should call the concerned manager and tell that manager to resolve the query.

Mystery shopping

Mystery shopping means that all staff will receive a phone call in order to gauge their performance while no one is watching them.
Mystery shopper will pretend as a customer, guard or new prospect.

Penalty

  • Conditioned to the level of misconduct.

Pension plan

For the betterment of Piffers family Piffers has planned to offer a pension to all of its permanent staff. Our partner company will be Qatar Tqaful Insurance. Pension plan includes:

1. Natural death 1Million compensation
2. Accidental death 2 Million compensation
3. After 10 years of service 4lac
4. Minimum time period for this benefits is 4 years stay in Piffers family
5. All benefits are conditioned to your loyalty and dedication, PIFFERS has absolute right to hold your benefits in case of any mis-conduct or dis-honesty.

Who is allowed in which room

  • As a principle decision, salary will be paid to guards at their locations, consequently GAURDS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OFFICE.
  • In case of any issue manager will resolve the issue at reception office.
  • If situation is escalating please take guard outside and resolve the issue

Penalty

  • Rs 500 will be charged from the salary of all on duty officers.

Reporting structure

Under payment issues

  • All issues of under payment will be reported to station supervisors then Manager Operations and finally to Zafar Sb but only on Fridays.

Uniform issues

  • Uniform replacement issues also are dealt only on Friday by using same structure.
  • Station guards should call their respective supervisors and station.
  • Supervisors are allowed to call Manager Operations only on Fridays.

Resignations

Resignations are also accepted on Fridays, if furnished before brief the guard that it will be considered from nearest Friday.

TRAIN GUARDS NOT TO CALL OFFICE EVERYDAY FOR ISSUES.

Manager operations should know that which guard is deployed at which place, manager operations should ask supervisors regarding these issues.

All supervisors and managers should have all the numbers of guards and customers.

MY NUMBER SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO CLIENT OR GUARD.

Take their number and inform me.

Penalty

  • Failure to save number of guard or client will result in Rs.500/- deduction per guard.
  • Tell guard that PIFFERS will charge Rs100/- per wrong call but avoid doing it.

Eating in office

Chewing gums, smoking, snuff (Naswar), miswak, pan, spari, chewing sticks etc are strictly not allowed in office. Spitting in office and its surroundings are not allowed.

  • Nothing is allowed at reception except TEA, Coffee and Water.
  • Food is allowed in operations room and after finishing food the left overs should be cordoned off properly. All containers should be kept in dispenser or out of sight.

Penalty

  • Rs, 1000/- will be charged per violation.

Attendance of all staff and visitor log book

All Executives, managers, supervisors should mark there present.
Marking of attendance without proper dressing will be considered as MAJOR OFFENSE.

Leaves issue
All staff should request there manager operations for leave and physically leave application should be written and approved by manager operations. Whereas manager operations submit leave application to Armoghan Tallat KHAN for approval. L Should be marked in attendance register.

Record of all visitors including guards should be maintained.

Who is visitor?
All persons without PIFFERS employee card will be considered as visitors.
If you don’t know anybody, then it’s worth to ask him for ID, regardless from this fear that the person belongs to Director’s family or etc.
